2020 Candidate Page and Interviews

Just a quick note about a couple of new features we’re going to include here at The Montana Post as the campaign season begins in earnest before the June primary.

I’ve started the process of building a one-stop page for Democratic candidates, available here. It’s fairly bare-bones right now, but I hope to add more detail over the next few weeks.

A second feature we’re adding is a bit more involved: interviews with candidates running across the state. While my technical prowess with audio is a bit limited, we hope to collect looks into what’s motivating candidates to run, where they’ve come from, and where they hope to lead Montana. We’ve got eight interviews scheduled over the next few weeks with candidates for Governor, Senator, Representative, and more.

Our first interview, with PSC District 3 candidate Tom Woods, will be live tomorrow.

Feel free to use the comment space here or on Facebook to suggest questions we should ask the candidates.

Thanks for continuing to visit the site!

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
