See You There…

Missoula has risen to the challenge presented by Trump’s October 18, 2018 visit. While Trump and his adorers stage a small event or lame photo op or whatever they want to call it at a hangar outside the airport, there will be a far larger crowd gathered in the city center. It will show the world what the idea of community really means. It will show Trump that his divisive tactics will not work in a big state that is really just a small town. It will show all of us gathered that while we have been collectively traumatized the past two years, we remain strong, resilient, and ready to face the challenges in front of us.

The event starts at 2:30 with events like yoga for kids, painting and art, and lots of information about what’s on the ballot November 6, 2018, which (I cannot underline enough) will be one of the most important events in this nation’s history. There will be some speakers from 4:30 to 5:30 then a march, yes an actual march!, down the street to the polls at the Missoula County Fairgrounds.

And singing. Hopefully there will be some singing.

See you there. (I better see you there…)

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
