Democratic Candidate for Congress Jared Pettinato Will Travel Montana Hi-Line by Train to Talk to Voters

Jared Pettinato plans to travel through Montana on a ‘Whistle Stop Tour’ starting tomorrow. Pettinato intends on meeting with Montanans and engaging voters on his vision for Montanans and the country. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Pettinato plans to grow Montana jobs with the wind and the trees.

“We can make money out of thin air with wind energy in eastern Montana, and we can use the money that grows on trees to manage forests and to reduce high-severity wildfire,” Pettinato contended. He believes that these new jobs will bring more money into Montana, will grow the economy, and will build Montana for the future.

Pettinato’s idea for taking Amtrak across the Hi-Line arose from his family’s railroad heritage. Pettinato was born and raised in Whitefish. His father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all worked on that line. Pettinato saw that route as the most efficient way to visit the towns on the Hi-Line. “Moreover,” Pettinato explained, “last year, Republicans threatened Amtrak funding, and I know the important people on the Hi-Line Amtrak serves.”

Pettinato plans to visit these towns on these dates:

Wolf Point: Sunday, March 25th at 6:00 p.m. at Missouri Breaks Brewing

Glasgow: Monday, March 26th at 6:00 p.m. at Eugene’s Pizza

Havre: Tuesday, March 27th at 5:30 p.m. at Triple Dog Brewery

Cut Bank: Wednesday, March 28th at 6:30 p.m. at Big Sky Cafe

Browning: Thursday, March 29th

Libby: Monday, April 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at Cabinet Mountain Brewing Co.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
