Corey Stapleton Montana Politics

Thanks for the Support!

I just wanted to extend a genuine thank you to all of you who donated to the Corey Stapleton accountability fund to pay for public records requests directed to his office. I expected that we’d raise $50, so it was incredibly gratifying to see so many people contribute to the cause. We reached our goal within an hour and the amount just kept growing overnight.

The request to Stapleton’s office has been officially made and I’ll let you know just as soon as I get the records I requested.

With your permission, I plan to keep the excess funds in an account for future requests. As we dig deeper into the budgets of the Republicans holding statewide office here in Montana, I’m certain it will come in handy. We’ll keep you apprised of any expenditures so you know how your generous offer helped and if, after a few months, we realize we don’t need the money, we’ll donate to a group working to help offset the damage being done by Republicans to public services in the state.

I’ll reach out and thank each of you individually this week, but just wanted to take a brief moment to express my appreciation.

Thanks once more.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
