Another Bad Week for Gianforte

Earlier this week, we took a look at Gianforte’s stumbling start to his gubernatorial campaign. Things haven’t improved for the far-right candidate since then. Yesterday, Troy Carter of the Bozeman Chronicle reported that a complaint has been filed with the Commissioner of Political Practices against Mr. Gianforte.

Carter writes, “The complaint, which was accepted by the state’s political watchdog Thursday, alleges that Greg Gianforte began a gubernatorial campaign in March but only filed the necessary disclosure paperwork this month.”

While it is unlikely that the Commissioner will get to this complaint prior to the 2016 election (maybe we’re wrong), it’s still another well-deserved headache for Gianforte and it continues to drive home the fact that his general approach to politics is very troubling.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
