Measured With Coffee Spoons: An Education Blog

While I don’t anticipate giving up blogging about the exciting world of Montana politics anytime soon, as someone who’s deeply passionate about the state of education, I often find myself wanting to write more about it—and this doesn’t always seem like the most appropriate venue. I’ve decided to break off some of the content here to a new education-focused blog called Measured with Coffee Spoons.

The site is pretty barebones right now, but there’s  a little content there already and I’m excited to give ed blogging another chance. I’ll continue to post education issues germane to Montana politics here, but MWCS will offer commentary on education reform, philosophy, and news. I’ll even post excerpts of the more interesting things going on in my classes.

I hope you’ll drop by.

From The Love-Song of J. Alfred Prufrock:

For I have known them all already, known them all;
Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons,
I have measured out my life with coffee spoons;
I know the voices dying with a dying fall
Beneath the music from a farther room.
  So how should I presume?

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
