Montana Politics

Election 2012 Update #12: And Now the Long Night of Waiting for State Results Begins…

The Missoulian is reporting that poll watchers in Missoula “were threatening to challenge every ballot cast after 8 p.m.” What will it take to get Montana Republicans to stop trying to disenfranchise people?

The Helena Independent Record is reporting that voters are still voting in Helena at the City-County building. Don’t forget—the Montana Republican Party doesn’t want them to be able to.

I know that I am going to miss Montana’s best legislator James Knox during the next session. Consider the comedy he brings every single day:

NBC Montana is reporting that voters in West Yellowstone were turned away at the polls and told to drive to Bozeman to vote.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
