Bob Wagner Endorses Max Yates

If I were candidate from Butte running for the Legislature, I think I’d rather not have the endorsement of some of the…uh…more colorful characters in the Montana Republican Party. I suspect Max Yates, from House District 74 would rather not have the endorsement of Birther Bob Wagner, for example.

Mr. Wagner, famous for his eloquent remarks about condoms and using gold for financial transactions, not to mention  his powerful moment on CNN, offered a stirring defense of Mr. Yates and the Montana Republicans in the Legislature in today’s Montana Standard. It included these rhetorical gems:

It is interesting that Jensen rants about gutting programs for education when the record shows Montana fails miserably to teach its citizens what it means to be a citizen. Possibly your priorities in education are teaching children the proper use of condoms instead of responsibility to their country, the Constitution and community.

Her first lie is that there was no bill to secede from the Union. There was a resolution introduced by Rep. Mike More, to reaffirm the sovereignty of the State of Montana, Art. II, Sec. 2 of the Montana State Constitution.

Read more of Mr. Wagner’s insight, especially if you are a voter in Butte.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
