Without a doubt, the biggest story this week was the story about the allegations against and subsequent resignation of Commissioner of Political Practices Dave Gallik. It all started with an investigative piece by the Great Falls Tribune’s John Adams. Jhwygirl weighed in, wondering why there isn’t greater oversight of Political Practices and James Conner suggested that moving the functions of the office to the offices of the Secretary of State and Attorney General would make more sense in the long run.
D Gregory reminded us that Representative Rehberg’s rhetoric on taxes and regulations certainly doesn’t match his record in Congress.
MT Cowgirl highlighted the grammatically challenged CALL TO ACTION from the Montana TEA Party to “boycott all news.” Fox News has finally succumbed to the pressure of the liberal elite, it appears.
Jhwygirl criticized House candidate Kim Gillian for appearing to “champion the short-term economic boom” to Billings after the Yellowstone River oil spill.
The Western Word offered a conservative perspective about Rick Hill’s choice of Jon Sonju as his running mate.
I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start and let’s all remember, anyone but the Patriots!
