Sixth congressional candidate?

A recent Facebook post by Melinda Gopher could lead some to believe that she is now considering a second run at the U.S. House of Representatives:

Gopher, who came in third in 2010’s Democratic primary, is, let’s say, “sporadic” in her messaging – whether it’s on her blog, Facebook, Twitter, or her “Exploratory Committee’s” website/blog.

During last summer, Gopher was talking about getting in the U.S. Senate race and, to be frank, in a month from now she may be back on that track.  However, for the time being, it looks like Gopher is showing some interest in the U.S. House race.

Maybe if we get a half dozen Dems in the primary people will actually start paying attention to this incredibly important race.

EDIT: James Conner points out that a man named Jason Ward has filed, so if Melinda Gopher were to run she’d be the seventh candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
