Listen to the Kids on HB 456

Please pass along what students have to say about HB 456 to your local representatives and senators. Our children want medically accurate, scientific information to keep themselves and their peers safe:

We ask the Senate to please oppose HB 456. Not only would it cripple the recently passed comprehensive health education curriculum, it would rob our youth of the information and guidance that they need to succeed and make healthy decisions in all areas of their lives. In a modern society where students are constantly surrounded by a sexualized culture, false media and rampant myths, it is imperative that they have access to scientific, medically accurate information. Without a complete knowledge of the risks associated with sexual activity and ways to protect themselves, STI and teen pregnancy rates will continue to rise.

Let’s not let the fear mongering of a few keep our kids from getting the information they need.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
