Republicans On Meth

Oh, those fiscal conservatives in the Republican Party.

At the same time, some Democrats objected to a piece of the Republican plan that sends another $500,000 to the private Montana Meth Project for a total of $1 million.

Health care for kids? Socialist waste. Millions for an unproven scare campaign? Sensible policy.

Sigh.

Update: And $600,000 for a big GOP donor to clean up his private mess. I’m pretty sure the voters wouldn’t have gone for that.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
