Montana Politics

Quick Hits

If you missed the Monday night debate between Governor Schweitzer, Senator Brown, and Stan Jones, Montana PBS will be re-airing it Wednesday at the following convenient times: 12 a.m., 3 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Catch it if you can; it’s well worth watching.

The racist Obama Waffles parody? Produced by someone who works at America’s finest news institution, Fox News.

Apparently, lying about statistics to win elections is catching on among Republicans. I guess my real confusion is why Tim Fox would even raise the issue, as it had limited connection to the 2nd Amendment, which he seems to believe is the entire scope of the AG’s job.

The City of Sheboygan, Wisconsin is suing a woman and pursuing criminal charges for linking to the city’s web site. In other news, the city is suing its founders for the name choice. Legal experts are unsure which suit is less legally legitimate.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.

  • Hey, I posted the debate on LiTW! Apparently the MT GOP (gasp!) put ’em up on You Tube!

We might, however, want to save them and keep them in perpetuity. I have a feeling — given Brown’s lackluster performance — they’ll want to take these down soon.

He looks kind of gray, eh?
