I know I am hard on Charles Johnson sometimes, but today’s piece about Mitt Romney is a total embarrassment. I’m tempted to ask what the advertising rate for the piece was. I think it’s certainly newsworthy to note, in a full piece, that a candidate’s son thinks he will win the caucus, don’t you?
You just have to wonder what kind of thought process goes through a journalist’s mind when he decides to write a completely non-critical, front stage story about a campaign surrogate the day of Montana’s caucus, without any context or opportunity for other candidates to respond.
It’s a good thing that the MT GOP has already decided to exclude the public from voting, or this might have had some influence. 🙂
