Bold Democratic Leadership Once More

It’d be easy and deserved to blame Chuck Schumer and Diane Feinstein for their responsibility in the latest Democratic capitulation, in the confirmation of an Attorney General who believes that the President can overrule federal law, but at least they voted.

Which one of these bold leaders should I support?

Oh, right. Campaigning to be President is more important than working to constrain the unprecedented power grab of the current occupant of the White House.

Thanks again to Senators Tester and Baucus, for believing that the United States should strive to uphold international law and reject torture.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.

  • Not everyone is occupied with their campaign. For instance, Senator Clinton missed this vote because she’s busy dealing with the fallout from Tipgate. As I type, she’s driving across Iowa, leaving $100 bills in every diner and dive she’s ever visited in the last fifteen years.

  • That’s a good point. Hard to say who looks worse in this non-event, the Clinton campaign or the media who is pretending that this is an issue.

I bet Chris Matthews is practically slobbering all over himself getting ready to run an expose on it.
