Dear Donald, Please Read Your Own Memos

In the tortured history of Bush
Administration testimony to Congress has anything more absurd been
uttered than the following remark by Donald Rumsfeld?

Early in my tenure as secretary of defense, I wrote a
memo for the men and women of the Department of Defense,” Rumsfeld
told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. “You will
note that principle number one _ the very first _ was: ‘Do nothing
that could raise questions about the credibility of
DOD.’

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
