Conrad Burns: Delivering for Montana Farm…Oh, Maybe Not

I’m told that I should for Conrad Burns because his seniority matters to Montana, and that he has our interests at heart. He cares so much about Montana farmers that he is pushing for disaster legislation money, including targeted funds for areas impacted by wildfires:

Sen. Conrad Burns, R-Mont., who is in a tight election race, is pushing his own disaster legislation that includes targeted money for fighting wildfires.
But Republican leadership, preoccupied with several defense and national security bills this month, has so far shown little interest in moving agricultural disaster assistance soon.

Great work, Conrad. Maybe if you got off the golf course and out of fundraisers you could do some work for the good people back home.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
