An Apt Description of the Burns Strategy

Gwen Florio of the Tribune offers this analysis from Craig Wilson:

Burns, who launched his campaign by disparaging Abramoff at every turn, now is resorting to the classic campaign tactic of the embattled incumbent — reminding people that “he may be a son of a gun, but he’s our son of a gun who’s brought some bacon back home,” Wilson said.

Gun. Something like that.
