Paul Richards Gets Noticed by a Montana Newspaper

The Gazette’s Jim Gransberry has written one of the first articles devoted to Paul Richards’ campaign for the Democratic nomination. It’s a little light, listing Richards’ agenda rather than explaining much of it, but a mention is a nice step.

One key point that Richards makes in the article is that his campaign is focused on issues–and I think it’s a very fair point. He has been much more specific about what he believes on policy questions than Tester, or especially Morrison, who still, as far as I can tell, has no opinion on the Iraq War. Obviously, Richards isn’t going to win this election, but it’s really important to have a liberal voice on issues like renewable energy, the war, and health care, to name a few.

I hope that he will continue to get more coverage as the campaign goes on.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
