At Least the Montana GOP is consistent

Since the strategy of gathering up some random committed Republican to smear the opponent worked so well for the Brown campaign, it appears that the GOP wants to give it another try.

This week’s GOP e-brief offers this insight:

Here’s what one of Jon Tester’s neighbors, Fred Bitz, recently had to say about him: “He’s a Ted Kennedy liberal socialist.” Mr. Bitz added that John Tester was a nice enough person, saying, “Jon’s okay. I just don’t like his politics.”

Let’s see. A three term senator has so little record to run on that his cronies at the Montana Republican party needs to use this as a campaign strategy? What the hell is a Ted Kennedy liberal socialist anyway?

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we would certainly appreciate it.
