Families Belong Together national day of action is this Saturday, June 30th with locations all over Montana. All listed below.

What are people protesting?

The Trump administration has failed to reunite thousands of children who have been separated from their parents. And its new policy imprisons immigrant families together indefinitely.

Livingston – Families Belong Together Rally in Livingston

Missoula – Families Belong Together

Billings – Keep Families Together Montana

From the Southern Poverty Law Center:

Adding fuel to the fire this week, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld President Trump’s travel ban, giving him the authority to turn away travelers from certain majority-Muslim countries, despite the freedom of religion protections enshrined in the Constitution.

Mass workplace raids by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, like the one earlier this month at a meat supplier in Ohio and another in April at a meatpacking plant in Tennessee, further illustrate how the government’s increasingly draconian enforcement tactics are tearing families and communities apart.

Now, more than ever, we have to stand together and fight for the rights of all people. Find a #FamiliesBelongTogether event near you by visiting https://front.moveon.org.

As always, thank you for your unwavering support as we fight the forces that seek to divide us.

If you appreciate an independent voice holding Montana politicians accountable and informing voters, and you can throw a few dollars a month our way, we\'d certainly appreciate it.
