Garden City, Magic City: two important actions

Shares

Wednesday in Missoula, we’ll be gathering at the Missoula County Detention Center to protest the Trump administration’s unconscionable separation of immigrant children from their parents.

It will be at 5 p.m. at 2340 Mullan Rd.

And call Rep. Gianforte and Sen. Daines to register your disgust: Gianforte at (202) 225-3211 and Daines at 202-224-2651 (press 3 to bypass the first voicemail hurdle).

As a friend at Indivisible Montana said, “Daines is ‘troubled’ by the children in cages. Tell his staffer ‘No, burned toast is troubling. Children in cages is EVIL.'”

It should be noted that Sen. Jon Tester is a co-sponsor of of S.3036, Keep Families Together Act.

Please relay any other actions you’re aware of that may be occurring around Montana at the Facebook link at the bottom of this post. I will update accordingly.

In Billings this Friday, the Montana Republican Party will be holding its platform convention. The guest of honor will be Donald Trump Jr. This would be a good opportunity to remind the Montana GOP, and Donnie, that taking immigrant kids from their parents and placing them in cages is unacceptable (among other pressing topics). From Big Sky Rises:

(Trump Jr.) will be campaigning for Greg Gianforte and Matt Rosendale. Event starts at 7:00 p.m. Join us outside with posters at 6:00 p.m. Billings Hotel & Convention Center, 1223 Mullowney Lane, right off King Avenue Exit.

Be there.

UPDATE: Kalispell, too!
