A Bit of a Summer Slowdown

As we move into August, I’ll be taking a bit of a break before school begins and the campaign season heats up, so you may notice a bit of a slowdown here over the next few weeks. I’m headed back to Porto, Portugal for a few weeks to relax and do some writing that’s not about Montana politics, with some stops in Reykjavik, Madrid, Amsterdam, and a few other spots along the way. If you find yourself terribly bored, I’ll be posting some pictures and thoughts about my trip over at my travel blog.

If the mood strikes any of you to write, feel free to drop me an e-mail, and I’d be happy to put up a guest post or two.

I hope everyone has some time to enjoy the wonders of Montana this August and that you all stay safe out there.

About the author

Don Pogreba

Don Pogreba is an eighteen-year teacher of English, former debate coach, and loyal, if often sad, fan of the San Diego Padres and Portland Timbers. He spends far too many hours of his life working at school and on his small business, Big Sky Debate.

His work has appeared in Politico and Rewire.

In the past few years, travel has become a priority, whether it's a road trip to some little town in Montana or a museum of culture in Ísafjörður, Iceland.
