Hate Group to Speak at Lewis and Clark Library Next Week, Capitol Building on Sunday

As part of a tour across the state, Wisconsin’s Pastor Matt Trewhella will be presenting a talk at the Lewis and Clark Library on January 5, to discuss his special homophobic brand of the doctrine of nullification to the faithful. Even better, he will be presenting an “election sermon” on Sunday at the Capitol Rotunda at 2:00 p.m.

Trewhella is an advocate of what he calls the Lesser Magistrate Doctrine, which hold that God wants states and counties to resist, even actively, decisions of the federal goverment they disagree with. From his web page:

The doctrine of the lesser magistrates declares that when the superior or higher civil authority makes an unjust/immoral law or decree, the lesser or lower ranking civil authority has both the right and duty to refuse obedience to that superior authority. If necessary, the lower authority may even actively resist the superior authority.

What makes “Pastor” Trewhella stand out in the shallow sea of nullifiers is that his particular concern seems to be the oppression of straight people by the advocates for the gay agenda.

Trewhella is so crazy that he approvingly played the 1961 Boys Beware PSA to his audience of dullards, suggesting that it demonstrated the appropriate societal response to and attitude towards people who are gay, calling homosexuality something that “needs to be supressed through the force of law.”

Trewhella also, clearly channeling the message of love in the New Testament, condemned parents who fail to teach their children to hate gay people:

Your children would be getting perverted in their minds by these filthy people. I have no respect for people who are parents, who actually have children, and have no problem with homosexuality or homosexual marriage. They are the most base people on the planet to have totally abandoned every God-given vestige to protect your child from the filth of homosexuality, to blatantly go along with it is disgusting.”

At least he’s a scientist. In 2007, he blamed devastating wildfires in California on the passage of a California law protecting people from discrimination.

Last week I groaned when I read how Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill into law in California which foisted homosexuality upon the children of that state through the state school system. The bill was SB777 and it clearly redefines (perverts) what sexuality is, as well as promotes the legitmacy of homosexuality upon children starting from kindergarten on up. He signed the bill on Saturday, October 13th.
Seven days later on October 20th, wildfires broke out across California in  several places.

Given the homophobic, nullifying beliefs of members of the GOP caucus in the Legislature this session, it seems like it might be a good idea for the media to see who shows up at these events—and ask what they think about the good Pastor and his horrific, idiotic beliefs.

Yes, this Lege will be a full frontal assault on Native American sovereignty. I mean, the inbred letters are al READY comin’ out from under the rocks! Check out this talking wazooo! Give tribes control In studying the Consolidated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Compact, it seems to me the proposed compact gives the tribes control of the Clark’s Fork River Basin. To correct this problem, I would propose that the 2015 Legislature pass a bill that repeals all of the statutes that refer to reserved water rights. In addition, it will include a requirement that the Montana Water Court shall… Read more »

Dear World,

Religion is like a penis. It’s fine to have one and it’s fine to be proud of it, but please don’t whip it out in public and start waving it around… and PLEASE don’t try to shove it down my child’s throat.

Sincerely, tired of hearing your religious guff

Don’t know who said it, but I thank’em!
