Ryan Zinke: A GOP Kind of Candidate

Shares

You’ve got to love this story of Republican infighting. Rick Hill, who certainly knows a thing or two about sleazy campaigning, is upset with Neil Livingstone because his running mate Ryan Zinke spread some untrue rumors about Hill’s financial mishaps. Confusing, I know.

Specifically, Zinke spread the story that Rick Hill was being investigated for financial fraud rather than being the victim of a scam, as Charles Johnson reports:

“Transparency with government begins with its leaders,” he said in an interview. “I trust Rick. If Rick stated that ‘This is my role in it,’ that’s fine. We all have to be transparent. If the rumor is out there and I hear it, I just want to make sure we have the best candidate out of the primary. I don’t think it’s an issue.”
Zinke added, “I don’t have any quarrel with Rick. I talked about what I heard. That is far from spreading rumors. It was a concern that it’s out there. I wouldn’t ever accuse anyone of anything I don’t have concrete information about.”

I think someone may want to consider purchasing a dictionary for the Livingstone campaign. Not only was he spreading a rumor about Hill, but he’s currently spreading some BS right now.

I absolutely love this Republican field for the governor’s chair.
