New Poll: Montana Legislature Hypocrite of the Session

Shares

As we move deep into the session, it seems appropriate to pause and reflect on the growing hypocrisy of the Montana GOP. It’s a crowded field of hypocrites, but as Ayn Rand teaches us, calling everyone a winner is a recipe for tyrannical socialism. There can only be one!

You may vote on the poll on the right side of the screen. Your candidates:

Representative James Knox: a man who has publicly cried over the scourge of medical marijuana while offering to build a web site for a Cannabis provider and who, while proclaiming the importance of small businesses as the engines of job growth, refused to pay his workers.

Representative Kristin Hansen: A woman who believes that the federal government is overreaching its power when it enforces laws and regulates the environment, but who believes that the people of Havre should overturn ordinances in Missoula.

Representative Austin Knudson: A man who, while receiving over $700,000 in federal farm subsidies, came to the Legislature, decrying federal and state spending.

Representative Janna Taylor : A woman who, while receiving over $1,000,000 in federal farm subsidies, came to the Legislature, decrying federal and state spending.

Representative Krayton Kerns: A man who, despite promising to get the state budget under control, presented legislation that will cost the people of Montana millions of federal dollars.

Choose wisely.

Nice poll but it’s a tough call (can we vote for more than one?). Also, you’re just scratching the surface: Greg Hinkle, Champ Edmunds, Verdell Jackson, Derek Skees … how many names will you poll accept?

Have you ever wondered who posts some of this stuff that you come across? Honestly the internet used to be like a different place, although it seems to be changing for the better. Do you agree?
