Marnee Banks has the story of the critical, job-creating proposal offered by21744701.thb-thumb Representative Michael More today: Montana sovereignty.

MT State Representative Michael More (R-Gallatin Gateway) is carrying the resolution… that Montana and its people have the sole and exclusive right to govern themselves as a free, sovereign and independent state.

More said, “The problem that we are dealing with is the concentration of power at the highest levels. Whether it be the Executive Branch of this State, whether it be the federal government. The problem is the abuse of power.

No, Representative More, the problem is that the extremists who are running the Montana GOP are willing to sacrifice federal funds and a far more precious resource, our reputation as state rather than doing the job they were elected to do: to create and promote jobs.

Please. If you really care about Montana, stop embarrassing us nationally with these inane, pointless bills. Do your jobs.

  • Wow! You should have seen Republican representavite Walter McNutt tear this idiot Moore a NEW one on the TV news tonight! Ouch! I could feel it all the way to GF. McNutt was great. He said the same things that you have said, and THEN, he added the words "stop scaring the hell out of my consituents with your nonsense"! It was great. I have already written to Rep. McNutt thanking him. We all should. Moore got a public asswhuppin'! Apparently the Republicans are feeling the heat, and that's a very, very good thing.

I say keep the heat up!
