Do The Republicans in the Legislature Have No Respect for Voters?

It would appear not. Today, the focus on job creation centered around Kristen Hansen and Champ Edmunds efforts to extend or eliminate term limits, term limits that were put in place by the voters of Montana.

It seems like the party of small government and the people has little respect for either when it comes to their interests.

Somehow, I suspect Mr. Edmunds doesn’t need to worry about term limits, though. His voting record will take care of that problem.

  • I actually think term limits should go — and they can’t go without a vote by the people. All that said, unless they’re raising money to convince Montanans of the case against term limits, they’re wasting everyone’s time and money.
