Reaction to the Rehberg Ranch’s Decision to Sue Firefighters

Shares

I certainly hope to see a McDonald ad exposing the gall of one of the richest members of Congress suing firefighters who spent a week risking their lives, to defend his scrub brush.

From the Billings Gazette:

Hard to believe you people are from Montana; harder yet to believe you are suing the very people that put their lives on the line to help you. Maybe this summer they won’t be in such a hurry to get to the Rheberg Cut Up Subdivision. Disgusting. I was a card carrying Republican, but Denny, this is not your year. Enough.

The arrogance of some is simply astounding! The Rehbergs are showing us all how far it can be taken. Don’t you have enough money Denny? You have to sue the people you work for? You should call Conrad Burns. He could tell you how to rail against the firefighters here!

Give us a break, years of duff build up, a lightning strike and high winds. A job done well by all on the scene. Considering the abuse they had to take at the hands of the Rehbergs. They have no idea of how to fight a wildland fire but where running around like a chicken with there heads cut off. Jumping from spot fire to spot fire insisting that the crews move from here to there and do there job faster. I hope the Rehbergs get burned again on this one!

From the Great Falls Tribune:

Old millionaire Reberg sure loves Montana and will do anything to help as long as it puts money in his gold lined pocket.
