Women’s Health in Air Quotes: Your Republican Party

Last night, during the debate, John McCain showed exactly the kind of person he is and President would be when he dismissively waved off the idea that women’s health was a legitimate argument for maintaining abortion rights. In fact, I was so angry, I nearly dropped my first f-bomb on the blog, after three years of writing on the site.

This morning, I saw this ad:

Fu . . .

No, they’re not worth it. I think it’s time that we go back to do an adult President, one who knows that abortion is a difficult, personal decision, but one that the government has no business making, when real lives are at stake.

  • i still can’t believe he did that. at the bottom of the screen during his abortion shcpeel, his ratings from women we so low. clearly, the majority do not agree with this.

i feel as though women’s bodies are literally baby-making factories and that’s it. it’s not up to them to decide. you know, under stalin’s regime in the soviet union, he gave out medals to any woman who had ten children of more. he gave them awards for producing good little soviets. too bad there’s no incentive for american women.
