Gloomy Roy is at it again. Following news that the state is potentially looking at a one billion dollar surplus under Governor Schweitzer’s leadership and following the failure of Brown’s epic proposals like $50 annual property tax reductions, health care task forces, and undefined bonuses for teachers, Senator Brown has gone back to the old Montana Republican well for this powerful argument:
Governor Schweitzer is a meany. A big meany.
Is Roy Brown running for governor or fourth grade hall monitor? (The site is worth a visit. I submitted a few bullying reports, like the time that Governor Schweitzer picked on Roy Brown by using truthful information at a debate.)
Frankly, it’s pathetic. Is Roy Brown so devoid of real ideas for the state of Montana that he has to campaign like this? Are Montana Republicans such weaklings that a strong Democratic governor who stands up to their lies makes them all weak in the knees?
Governors deal with real issues, working to bring real jobs to our state. If Roy Brown and the Montana Republican Party are so delicate that strong, direct language reduces them to childish, playground name calling, are they really ready to lead our state?[I do want to offer a sincere apology to anyone who read this at the Brown campaign. I imagine you are crying about my bullying ways right now.]
