  • I recently saw Mitt Romney in person at the defense contractor I work at. After i washed the slime off for a while, i still don’t
    like him. he was talking about how we need to invest in new clean energy technologies (obviously cape wind was not enough of a clean energy technology) and invest in the military so that we don’t turn into Europe (the second rate nations, as he called them).

    “He must be following the Rove playbook, saying the opposite of reality so much that everyone starts to believe it. The idea that we need to invest in the military more seems so crazy to me given that we already have by far the largest defense budget.”
