Burns Roundup

Adam thinks it’s time for Connie to go:

Republicans in Montana face a choice, but its not between Burns and his Republican challenger State Senate Minority Leader Bob Keenan. It is between defeat and victory. Republicans can win or they can lose. Keenan’s far from perfect, but Burns is just an albatross around the neck of state Republicans at this point.

The American Spectator thinks it’s going to happen:

The Helena IR reports that the word on the Montana street, er, highway is that Conrad Burns may drop out of his Senate race by Thursday’s filing deadline. Rep. Denny Rehberg could be his replacement.

Kos reminds us of the kind of Montana candidate Burns is:

Burns’ total contributions from PACs: $1,485,886
Burns’ total contributions from individuals: $2,060,900

Tester’s total contributions from PACs: $250
Tester’s total contributions from individuals: $464,097

Morrison’s total contributions from PACs: $48,250
Morrison’s total contributions from individuals: $991,832
