Bill Frist’s ‘Is Is’ Moment

Shares

Senator Bill Frist, appearing on Meet the Press this morning came up with another fascinating excuse for his dishonesty related to the sale of HCA stock before the stock dropped in value.

Frist’s response to a clearly untrue statement he made to CNBC about not knowing that he owned HCA stock:

`what America thinks is a blind trust, it may be something different, but I’m going to follow the rules, which I did.’

Oh. That clears it up.
