Just Don’t Go–Worth Checking Out

Just Don’t Go is an interesting site that offers information for parents, teachers and students about avoidng the ever-aggresive military recruiters on our high school campuses.

A valuable resources, as many schools are failing in their obligation to inform students and parents of their right to opt out.

If you want to see some naked cynicism, check out the site’s copy of an Army recruiting guide here.

Contact college students who are home during the holidays (remember that many first-year college students do not return to school after the first semester)

Deliver donuts and coffee for the faculty once a month. This will help in scheduling classroom presentations and advise teachers of the many Army opportunities.

are especially nice touches.
